Winter Night Market (Luna1878)

I’ve just heard that MasterChef filmed an episode recently at the Queen Victoria Night Market. This is normally held  every Wednesday evening during summer. It will however resume on July 9 – August 27  for a chilly winter market,  do check out: http://www.qvm.com.au It is called the Luna1878 due to 1878 being the year that the Queen Victoria Market was set-up.  I love the Queen Victoria Market and can often be seen there from 7am on a Friday morning sifting through the freshest of seasonal fruit and veg and then on to the inside meat market where all sorts of delectable deli items can be sourced. Normally I purchase all my Arabic and mediterranean treats from olives to falafels…from parma ham to pistachios and the most special deli cuts and assorted locally made cheeses and breads. Yum!

I'd really love to hear your comments.
