Berowra Waters Inn located on the banks of the Hawkesbury River was a picturesque location for the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs nine course dégustation luncheon. Many of the ingredients were organic and bio-dynamic, maintaining the ‘green’ ethos designed by Chef Dietmar Sawyere.
From the moment we set off in our luxury coach from Circular Quay we commenced a rather exhilarating journey through the countryside of New South Wales picking up a few members enroute, culminating with some rather tight turns on the trip down and through the bush to the jetty to board ‘Berowra Waters Inn’ private ferry we motored across the Hawkesbury River drinking in the beauty of the area with the yachts bobbing on the water’s edge. With the day being rather fresh our Bailliage were pleased to finally reach the inner sanctum of the Inn with its welcoming staff.
This waterfront property was the ideal location for a relaxing luncheon in the haven of the private dining-room. We leisurely enjoyed the extensive menu compiled under the direction of Dietmar Sawyere. The menu was beautifully composed of a nine course dégustation created with organic and bio-dynamic ingredients hosting the freshest ingredients; there was definitely something for everyone.
