Tiki bars, rum and fun!

Over the years I have experienced some cool Tiki bars from variousTrader Vics in (Hilton Hotel Dubai Jumeirah, Medinat, and in its birthplace in Dubai in Dubai Crown Plaza ). The Polynesian (400 West 42nd St, New York City (in the Pod Times Square Hotel)). However, here in Melbourne I recently came across a Tiki wonderland. This hidden gem was tucked away in Collins Lane and from the outside the square footage is small – so easily missed. Yet once you walk up the stairs the impact is huge, the wonders of all the specially chosen pieces for this bar can be a little overwhelming. The interior space is maximised to the hilt from items hanging from the ceiling, fixed to a wall or on the bar —  skeletons on bar stools!
It is a combo of the best of… a Tiki bar meets Day of the Dead.

I'd really love to hear your comments.
